Information for women

In Norway, one out of four women has experienced some form of violence or threats of violence. Men and women experience violence from a partner to an equal extent. Women, however, experience the most serious and long-lasting violence.

Many LGBT persons experience rejection, being cast aside or subjection to physical violence from a partner or their own family.
